Renal Seminar for Health Plan Case Managers

Health plan case managers face many challenges when working with members who experience chronic kidney disease across the continuum of care. Please join us for this free, one-day seminar that will focus on relating the most current information on the management and treatment of kidney disease and its contributing factors with applications for managed care case management. Morning coffee, lunch, and all seminar materials are included! Topics will include:
- Pathophysiology of kidney disease
- Standard therapies for the treatment of chronic kidney disease including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
- Interventions and therapies for the patient with advanced chronic kidney disease
- Effective strategies for chronic kidney disease case management
- Tools and guidelines in applied health plan scenarios

Registered nurses who attend the entire event and complete an evaluation form will receive a certificate for 5.25 hours, provided by Michigan State University College of Nursing, which is approved as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the Michigan Nurses Association, which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation.
