Quality Improvement

IHCS works collaboratively with the Michigan Department of Community Health, Michigan Medicaid managed care plans, and other partners on a variety of health care quality improvement projects. The IHCS Quality Improvement Team blends the talents of staff members with diverse health care industry experience to conduct a broad range of projects in the areas of:

• maternal and child health;
• chronic disease;
• disparities;
• managed care quality improvement and accreditation; and
• education.

Consistent with the IHCS mission, the Quality Improvement Team has the ability to translate research to non-academic settings, benefiting our partners and Michigan residents.
