Health Services Research

IHCS is involved in health services research directly through the work of IHCS staff; contractually through the work of investigators using IHCS Research Scientist Agreements; and administratively through the facilitation of the research efforts of other investigators via the Medicaid Match Projects as well as through the use of the MDCH Medicaid Data Warehouse.

The efforts of IHCS in the area of health services research provide opportunities for researchers at MSU to study issues of importance in the health care arena, while also providing a valuable opportunity to tap the knowledge and expertise available at MSU for producing research that is of benefit to Michigan’s Medicaid program.
