Patricia P. Miller is the Event Coordinator for the MSU Institute for Health Care Studies. She is responsible for the development, planning, and execution of many of the Institute’s conferences and training programs.

Ms. Miller received her Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Denison University, Granville Ohio, with a major in Pre-Medicine, and a minor in English literature. She has completed extensive graduate work at Michigan State University in Journalism.

She served as an administrator with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for 15 years, heading up the state's Air Pollution Control program that worked to improve air quality for Ohio's citizens. She established two major statewide programs: one, for the control of air toxic compounds, and two, an auto inspection program for reduction of ozone precursors. She is an experienced public speaker and media liaison.

She has worked at Michigan State University for 13 years in technology transfer, educational outreach, technical and academic writing, and journalistic writing and editing positions. She has expertise in writing, editing, outreach, communications, marketing, media relations, and publication management.
